Below you can find information about our various possibilities for children of all ages.

TODDLER CLUB
Toddler club is meant for boys and girls between the ages 1 and 3. The toddler club gathers every Sunday at Pohjois-Tapiola school (Pohjois-Tapiolan koulu, addr. Sepontie 2). Part of each session is controlled sporting activity, but mostly every session consists of free playing with the parents. Welcome to the world of somersaults, running, jumping, climbing, balancing and everything in between!

SPORT PLAY SCHOOL
Sport play school is organized for children bbetween the ages 3 and 6. The content of this play school is not yet so much basketball oriented as in basketball play school. The most important objective is to support every child’s holistic development from his/her point of view and offer feelings of success.

YOUTH TEAMS
This season our youth teams range from boys and girls born 2006 to boys and girls born in 1993. Boys and girls have their own separate teams in each age group.

SEASON FEES
Each player is required to pay an annual season fee, the amount of which is decided by the organisation's annual meeting. With the money gathered from the fees, the club covers its largest expenses, such as gym rent, jerseys, administrative costs and coaches’ fees.

Season fee invoices will be sent by e-mail from the club’s office to every player or his/her parents.

- Club's payments to the Finnish Basketball Association (FBA), such as national and regional league fees
- Referee costs
- An annual Tapiolan Honka –product

- A free two-week introductory period

- FBA’s basketball license and insurance (see below for more information)

- Basketball equipment

Toddler Club: 165,00 EUR
Sport and basketball play school: 250,00 EUR
Boys and girls 2005 to 2006: 330,00 EUR
Boys and girls 2004: 400,00 EUR
Boys and girls 2002 to 2003: 530,00 EUR
Boys and girls 2000 to 2001: 750,00 EUR
Boys and girls 1998 to 1999: 800,00 - 1080,00 EUR
Boys and girls 1996 to 1997: 800,00 - 1300,00 EUR
Boys and girls 1993 to 1995: 800,00 - 1400,00 EUR

FINNISH BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION'S BASKETBALL LICENSE
Before playing the first official match, each player should pay FBA’s player license and preferably deliver the receipt to the team manager. Within purchase of the license, the player gets the right to play in FBA-organized matches and also gets an annual subscription to Kori-lehti (FBA’s basketball magazine). It is also possible to purchase an insurance with the license (see “Insurance” below).

INSURANCE
Each player is responsible for his/her own insurance. The insurance that belongs to the FBA license is sufficient for younger players – it covers expenses from injury treatment up to 2500 EUR - 3500 EUR. It does not, however, cover physical treatment or braces and such used in rehabilitation.

For older players we strongly recommend that they ask their own insurance company for other options. When purchasing the insurance, remember to mention the word “competitive” sport, since insurance companies have different pricing for different sports. In treatment expenses covered, the recommended minimum is 8500 EUR since even smallest reparation done by a private doctor will most likely exceed 2500 EUR. It is also important to note, that the insurance should also cover physical treatment and the possible braces used in the rehabilitation (for example knee and ankle braces).
